Halogen Free Flame Retardant Manufacturer
Phoniton™MCA-8, melamine cyanurate, is a kind of high effective nitrogen halogen free flame retardant. It is very stable when the temperature is lower than 300℃. However, sublimation will happen when the temperature is above 350℃. The decomposition temperature of MCA-8 is 440℃～450℃. MCA-8 is in high content of nitrogen, and it will dehydrate to carbon under high temperature, and it will also release N₂, CO₂ and water while burning. The flame retardant takes effect through absorbing heat and releasing incombustible gases after sublimation.
PA6 and PA66 with MCA-8 can pass the tests of UL 94 V-0 (0.75mm), and it is also suitable for textile coating due to fine particle size.
