Melamine cyanuric acid salt is a kind of high efficient non-halogenated environmentally friendly flame retardant containing nitrogen; it is very stable when heated below 300℃, and begins to sublimate at about 350℃, but does not decompose, and its decomposition temperature is about 440～450℃. With high nitrogen content, it dehydrates into charcoal at high temperature and releases nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water when burning. Its flame retardant mechanism: sublimation and heat absorption and gas phase flame retardant. Phoniton™ MCA-8 can flame retard PA6 and PA66 without filler to UL 94 V-0 (0.75mm), while Phoniton™ MCA-8 has a smaller particle size, which is especially suitable for fabric coating.
