PreniphorEPFR-APP262 is a kind of high polymerization degree, crystal type Ⅱ ammonium polyphosphate encapsulated with melamine formaldehyde based on EPFR-APP222H. It has very low water solubility; even in the high temperature, it is still completely insoluble to the organic solvent. EPFR-APP262 has high content of phosphorus and Nitrogen, excellent thermal stability, near-neutral and non-toxic smoke property. With gas source and carbon source, it takes effect by char formation and intumescent mechanism.


EPFR-APP262 is encapsulated with melamine formaldehyde resin. It can be applied in almost all applications. and it is especially recommended to intumescent coating, fabric coating and thermosetting resins (epoxy resin, unsaturated resin and etc.) with high water-resistance requirement.
